Job Title:

Senior Reliability Cleared Business Process Consultant

Job Summary:

S.i. Systems is seeking a Senior Reliability Cleared Business Process Consultant to improve health and safety culture within the department. The Health, Safety and Environment Branch is tasked with initiating, coordinating and managing various health, safety and environment initiatives, including the Make it Safe Campaign. These initiatives aim to transition the NRC within the next few years from a reactive state, where the NRC reactively responds to safety incidents, to a more proactive state.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Using the Lean Six Sigma approach, analyze business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows.
  2. Prototype potential solutions, scenarios, provide trade-off information for a recommended course of action.
  3. Develop HSE Branch initiative plans and implementation strategies to improve overall health and safety culture.
  4. Assist in the development of programs and/or implementation plans, including tracking and reporting tools and developing the NRC health, safety and environment performance reporting.
Requirements:
  1. PMP Certification
  2. Knowledge of experience with the following:
    1. Privacy Act
    2. Canada Labour Code Part II and Part 15
    3. Hazardous Occurrence Investigation, Recording and Reporting (HOIR)
    4. Data management and building reports for various audiences
  3. University Degree
  4. Reliability Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of how occupational injuries are dealt with in the federal government (particularly the reporting of incidents and injuries).
