We are in search of a skilled and innovative Pastry Chef to spearhead the creation of remarkable culinary delights at our newly established dining venues and event spaces. We believe that extraordinary pastries and baked goods are essential in crafting memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities of an Executive Baker at Banff Lodging Co.:

  • Manage all pastry, dessert, and bread needs for multiple dining outlets and event facilities.
  • Take pride in producing delicious and visually stunning pastries and baked goods for our clientele.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a cohesive integration of pastry offerings within the overall menu, enhancing the dining experience.
  • Procure baking supplies and manage inventory effectively while controlling costs.
  • Mentor and develop the culinary staff focused on pastry and baking techniques.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef, with a portfolio of exceptional pastry creations.
  • A strong passion for culinary creativity and a willingness to push traditional boundaries.
  • Expertise in both banquet and à la carte dessert presentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A minimum of several years' experience in a high-volume, quality-focused setting.
