Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Multi-Line Claims Adjuster to support our operations remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess both commercial and residential property and casualty claims through thorough loss investigations.
  • Negotiate settlements in compliance with provincial licensing standards while ensuring effective production levels and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct interviews with claimants and witnesses to gather necessary information.
  • Collect and verify official documentation related to claims.
  • Analyze claims data against evidence to ensure accuracy.
  • Determine liability and extend offers to claimants as appropriate.
  • Issue payments and manage salvage disposal processes.
  • Pursue subrogation efforts as needed.
  • Maintain precise records, reporting, and presentation of claims files, including evidence for legal proceedings.
  • Ensure accurate billing and maintain time and expense records.
  • Collaborate with management to uphold client relations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is advantageous.
  • Possession of or progress towards a CIP designation is preferred.
  • Experience in road adjusting with a focus on detailed reporting of property and casualty claims.
  • Proficient in Xactimate and XactAnalysis software.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French is a plus.
  • A strong team player with exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • A willingness to thrive in a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional development.
