Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Multi-Line Claims Adjuster to support our operations remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess both commercial and residential property and casualty claims through thorough loss investigations.
- Negotiate settlements in compliance with provincial licensing standards while ensuring effective production levels and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Conduct interviews with claimants and witnesses to gather necessary information.
- Collect and verify official documentation related to claims.
- Analyze claims data against evidence to ensure accuracy.
- Determine liability and extend offers to claimants as appropriate.
- Issue payments and manage salvage disposal processes.
- Pursue subrogation efforts as needed.
- Maintain precise records, reporting, and presentation of claims files, including evidence for legal proceedings.
- Ensure accurate billing and maintain time and expense records.
- Collaborate with management to uphold client relations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is advantageous.
- Possession of or progress towards a CIP designation is preferred.
- Experience in road adjusting with a focus on detailed reporting of property and casualty claims.
- Proficient in Xactimate and XactAnalysis software.
- Bilingual proficiency in French is a plus.
- A strong team player with exceptional customer service capabilities.
- A willingness to thrive in a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional development.
