Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedics Surgery team at Burnaby Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with orthopedic conditions, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, including fractures, joint injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and surgical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery
- Provide education and support to patients and families on orthopedic conditions and treatment options
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience in orthopedics or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to critically assess and evaluate health research literature to determine best practices
- Ability to implement and evaluate planned change
