Position Overview

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior ETL Analyst / Developer to contribute to a significant Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiative aimed at modernizing our legacy Records Management System (RMS). The role will primarily involve the creation of a data pipeline to extract, load, and transform (ELT) historical data from NicheRMS version 5 to NicheRMS UA. Additional tasks will include the cleansing of legacy data and the transformation of both structured and unstructured data that has been tailored in the existing RMS.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven background in developing data pipelines for data migration, including planning for implementation and providing support post-implementation. A strong history of successful project delivery in a dynamic and ambiguous environment is essential.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office presence one day per week.



Required Skills

  • Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Over 10 years of experience in roles such as Data Engineer, Software Developer, or Database Administrator (DBA)
  • In-depth knowledge of data types, data objects, and Entity Relationship Diagrams
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experience in developing data pipelines
  • Expertise in data migration, transformation, and cleansing of both structured and unstructured data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, R, Ruby, and Scala
  • Familiarity with data security practices
  • Experience in large-scale ERP implementations with an emphasis on records management and/or financial software
  • Familiarity with NicheRMS is advantageous


Work Environment

Contract position with options for extension
