About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Dasro Consulting Inc. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Extraction and Analysis: Lead or be part of a team responsible for extracting knowledge from data by applying various techniques and theories, including machine learning, computer programming, statistics, data engineering, pattern recognition, and visualization.
  2. ETL Pipeline Development: Design, orchestrate, and develop high-performance and robust ETL pipelines leveraging cloud-native tools.
  3. DevOps Integration: Integrate DevOps practices into the development workflow using CI/CD best practices.
  4. Data Warehousing and Lakes: Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval systems for analytical needs.
  5. Data Modelling: Provide expertise in data modelling (star or snowflake schema) to enhance data flow and query performance, supporting data product delivery.
  6. Data Product Development: Hands-on experience with building and managing data products, from initial concept through to deployment, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements.
  7. Data Governance: Understanding of data governance components, including data quality, metadata, data lineage, accessibility, and standardization.
  8. Data Security: Demonstrate strong commitment to data security and compliance to protect sensitive information and enforce data governance in enterprise platforms.
  9. Technology Stacks: Work across a myriad of technology stacks in Azure, Cloudera.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  1. ETL Pipeline Experience: Experience building high-performance, scalable, and robust ETL pipelines in distributed clusters.
  2. Database Solutions: Experience in creating Microsoft-SQL database solutions.
  3. Data Science and Engineering: Experience with projects that involved data science, data engineering, and/or AI.
  4. DevOps Practices: Experience integrating DevOps practices into the development workflow using CI/CD best practices.
  5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to plan and design creative solutions.
  6. Dimensional Modelling: Experience with dimensional modelling techniques.
  7. Python Development: Experience with Python development.
  8. Data Warehouse/BI Environment: Experience working in a data warehouse/business intelligence or relevant data environment in either a development or support role.
