Store Manager

The Store Manager is pivotal in steering the retail outlet towards achieving exceptional sales performance and profitability. This role demands strategic foresight and operational excellence to foster a thriving shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the store consistently meets or surpasses sales and profitability benchmarks through effective planning and expense management.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a motivated team focused on delivering outstanding results.
- Manage payroll and create sales-oriented schedules to optimize profitability while upholding superior customer service standards.
- Conduct timely performance assessments for all team members to promote growth and accountability.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and educate staff on best practices.
- Adhere to all operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment for both employees and customers.
- Participate in off-site training and relevant meetings as required; travel may be necessary.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays, as well as potential overtime.
- 2 to 4 years of managerial experience in a customer-focused retail setting, ideally in apparel or footwear.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and effectively resolving complex challenges.
- Strong collaborative spirit and team-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional communication abilities; bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.
- Quick adaptability to new concepts and processes.
- Basic computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications.
- Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds regularly.
