ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Influencer Marketing Assistant Manager, you will collaborate with the SEPHORA USA Social team to cultivate top-tier digital communities through innovative strategies and authentic creator and influencer content that fosters brand loyalty, growth, and engagement. You will oversee the implementation, delivery, and evaluation of influencer content and campaigns, supporting marketing and business objectives through our creator network.

Our Social Media team seeks an individual who not only thrives in the realm of social media but also possesses a passion for engaging with a vibrant online community of beauty aficionados. Reporting directly to the Influencer Marketing Manager, your focus will be on influencer-centric initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Influencer Marketing Manager in executing influencer campaigns and related tasks from start to finish.
  2. Draft influencer campaign briefs that effectively communicate messaging, deliverable requirements, objectives, and pertinent information to facilitate content creation.
  3. Manage daily interactions with external influencer agency partners, ensuring timely updates and adherence to campaign schedules.
  4. Review, compile team feedback, and approve influencer-generated content regularly.
  5. Create presentations outlining influencer strategies, tactics, and deliverables for Sephora USA campaigns.
  6. Collaborate with project leads, creative teams, and project managers to devise social-first influencer strategies that align with broader marketing initiatives.
  7. Work cross-functionally with Store Teams, Merchandising, Brand Marketing, and Integrated Marketing to produce impactful influencer-led content.
  8. Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive Canadian-owned Influencer Strategy.
  9. Conduct research and share insights on the influencer and beauty marketing landscapes.
  10. Compile guest lists for local press/influencer events and attend events as necessary, even if they extend beyond standard working hours.
  11. Assist in managing the budget for the Influencer Marketing line.
  12. Coordinate product shipments directly to influencers as required for campaigns.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Support the analysis and reporting of social media and influencer content performance.
  2. Assist with ad-hoc requests from the Social Media team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 3+ years of experience in Social Media and/or influencer marketing, preferably in brand or agency settings.
  2. A strong passion and thorough understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, with an interest in emerging platforms.
  3. Experience collaborating with talent management and influencer marketing agencies to create and deliver high-impact creator content.
  4. A genuine curiosity about social media analytics and its application in optimizing content performance.
  5. A self-starter who can navigate ambiguity and devise creative solutions to challenges.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. A collaborative and innovative mindset, eager to brainstorm fresh ideas.
  8. Willingness to experiment and think outside the box.
  9. Strong organizational skills with effective time management and prioritization abilities.
  10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.
  11. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  12. Familiarity with Traackr, Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, or similar social scheduling platforms is a plus.
