Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in Sechelt, BC. As a key member of our public health team, you will play a vital role in promoting and protecting the health, well-being, and safety of our communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your nursing knowledge and expertise to control communicable diseases and promote vaccine-preventable disease prevention.
  • Prepare and conduct clinics, providing related nursing care such as screening, health teaching, and immunization for recommended and required vaccinations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve excellence in health services and education.

Qualifications

  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Recent related experience working in public health, communicable disease control, vaccine preventable diseases, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle for local area travel may be required.
