Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at the Chelsea Hotel, Toronto. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and take orders for food and beverages in accordance with the Hotel's Policies and Procedures.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests using the point of sale system (Micros).
  • Speedy and accurate service of food and beverages to guests with necessary accompaniments.
  • Timely presentation of guest checks for payment.
  • Accurate posting of charges to guest accounts.
  • Answer any guest questions or direct them to another colleague who can assist them, always ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Conducts him/herself with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests, colleagues, and managers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar size establishment.
  • Previous Guest Service experience.
  • Good knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails.
  • Must possess Smart Serve.
  • Efficient and quick to learn.
  • Pleasant attitude, outgoing personality.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in the English language (Written and Verbal).
