The Centre for Making Coordinator & Ancillary Services is a key role within Fleming College, responsible for maintaining the campus library, organizing and maintaining the campus Shirt Shop, and providing technical support and administrative coordination for the Centre for Making community makerspace.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the campus library, including ordering books, supplies, and equipment
- Organize and maintain the campus Shirt Shop, including ordering clothing and supplies
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex technological equipment, such as 3D printers and laser cutters
- Assist with course registrations, promotion, and general clerical support for campus operations
- Provide back-up support to front-line reception and assist with other duties as required
- 2-year Diploma in Marketing, Visual Arts, Design, or related field
- Three to five years of relevant working experience, including experience in retail sales, marketing, or office administration
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and prioritize tasks as needed
