Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Logistics Agent to join our team at Bombardier's Dorval Plant 3. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the internal flow of material, participating in the material planning process, and providing a contingency plan for missing parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the internal flow of material with expeditors and production employees.
  • Participate in daily morning meetings and provide visibility to the natural team regarding planned and unplanned shortages.
  • Manage and plan the work of internal suppliers.
  • Prepare and validate documentation at different workstations.
  • Participate in various improvement plans of internal material flow management with different stakeholders.
  • Ensure improvement of business processes and solutions within the team to ensure on-time delivery of parts to production positions.
  • Actively participate in improvement projects.
  • Develop positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operation Management, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in operations or logistics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, be a team player, self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative as well as leadership, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good organizational & planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and oral).
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
