Your Role:

Located in our Ontario office, we are seeking an entry-level IT Support Specialist to assist with a variety of technical tasks. This position will support multiple branches by troubleshooting and setting up various hardware components. There is significant potential for advancement within our Information Technology division, as our operations heavily rely on our technological infrastructure.

IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, as well as printer hardware and software applications.
  2. Support remote access solutions, including VPNs and mobile devices.
  3. Manage user accounts within Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD.
  4. Handle and prioritize support requests through a ticketing system.
  5. Address urgent issues during or after regular hours, as needed.
  6. Document processes and solutions to enhance the knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role.
  2. Diploma in Computer Science, DEP in Computer Support, or equivalent training.
  3. Experience with Active Directory and Exchange account management.
  4. Familiarity with remote access tools such as TeamViewer, RDS, Citrix, etc.
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  6. Experience with Windows Server versions (2012/2016/2019).
  7. Familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot and/or Intune.
  8. Understanding of Networking Principles and Windows Domains.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  10. Experience in supporting mobile devices.
  11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  12. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  13. Customer service-oriented with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  14. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  15. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
