Job Title: Guest Services Agent

Join our team at Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, Canada, as a Guest Services Agent. This role is a great opportunity to provide exceptional service to our internal and external guests, while being part of a dynamic and inclusive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist with tour check-ins, greet tour guides and groups, and generate reports for other departments.
  • Register and checkout hotel guests, while ensuring all service standards are followed.
  • Act as an ambassador of Fairmont Chateau Laurier, promoting our brand and values.
  • Assist Leadership in performing daily duties, including crisis and emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in both official languages (English and French) is a requirement.
  • Previous Front Desk Agent experience in a similar environment is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to handle cash effectively and accurately.
  • Computer literate with exposure to Opera, Property Manager, and Delphi, Word, and Excel is an asset.
  • Active listener, self-starter, and able to make decisions and take initiative.
