Job Title: Guest Services Agent

Join the Fairmont Château Laurier team as a Guest Services Agent, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our internal and external guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.
  • Assist with tour check-ins, greet tour guides and groups, and generate reports for other departments.
  • Register and checkout hotel guests, while ensuring all service standards are followed.
  • Act as an ambassador of Fairmont Château Laurier, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist Leadership in performing daily duties, including crisis and emergency situations.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in both official languages (English and French).
  • Previous Front Desk Agent experience in a similar environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle cash effectively and accurately.
  • Computer literate with exposure to Opera Cloud, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Active listener, self-starter, and able to make decisions and take initiative.
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute.
  • Positive and pleasant attitude, with a strong team player mentality.
Physical Aspects of the Position:
  • Standing during entire shifts.
