We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at NORTHSTAR QUILTING AND SUPPLIES INC. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring timely and efficient use of resources.
  • Communication and Reception: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Inventory Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked and efficient office environment.
  • Customer Service: Greet visitors, direct them to contacts or service areas, and provide general information about our company and services.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
