CRH, a prominent player in the concrete manufacturing sector, is recognized for its innovative approach in producing masonry and landscaping solutions. As a division of Oldcastle APG, we operate multiple facilities across Ontario and Quebec.

We are seeking skilled Press Operators for our state-of-the-art production facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols while utilizing personal protective gear.
  • Operate block machinery and various automated production systems.
  • Execute quality control and production tasks in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Facilitate product changeovers.
  • Enhance machine cycle efficiency.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Engage in equipment and facility sanitation.
  • Ensure a tidy and organized workspace.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of high school education.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting as a machine operator.
  • Proficient mechanical skills, including the ability to read measuring instruments and utilize basic hand and power tools.
  • Strong teamwork skills, initiative, responsibility, precision, and a methodical approach.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English.
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance history.
