Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the block machine and automated production equipment to produce high-quality concrete masonry products
  • Apply health and safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment
  • Complete quality and production duties following the quality manual to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Set up product changes and optimize cycle time of machines to improve efficiency
  • Perform preventive maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in machine and plant clean-up to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Maintain a clean work area to ensure a safe and healthy working environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a machine operator
  • Strong mechanical ability and reading of measuring tools
  • Use of basic hand/power tools
  • Teamwork oriented and initiative
  • Responsible and able to react to situations
  • Fluent in written and reading English
  • Excellent attendance record
