About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team in Milton, ON. As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality stone wool products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace
  • Report quantity of deficiencies and the cause
  • Separate waste
  • Report all irregularities related to the work of subordinate devices
  • Partner with Maintenance to ensure proper functioning of equipment and safe removal of failures and/or machine problems
  • Inform supervisor and relevant shifts of any problems or tasks in need of attention
  • Plan efficient product changes
  • Communicate unusual conditions, equipment issues, or reasons for change of production volume to cross shift operator
  • Complete shutdown tasks and procedures
Work Environment & Conditions
  • Fast-paced high volume production facility
  • Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 12 hours per day
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs alone and 120 lbs with another person
  • Ability to shovel heavy waste to shoulder height
  • Ability to wear protective safety equipment for several hours daily
