We are seeking a highly dedicated and driven Branch General Manager to lead and manage our flagship operation in Burnaby, BC.

About the Role:

As the Branch General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales, personnel, and operations plans for your area. You will lead a high-performing team, develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, identify new markets, and increase market share in the Commercial, Industrial, and OEM segments in BC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support your sales team with key client relationships and drive profitable P&L results through sales strategies and strong branch operational systems.
  • Understand how financials work to achieve optimal gross profit gains through a focus on strong sales strategies and sound operational efficiencies and procedures.
  • Hire, train, and develop employees in both sales and operations to create a high-performing team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and identify new markets and increase market share.
  • Manage a team of sales professionals and ensure all operations are managed safely and in accordance with the company's stated values.
  • Develop and maintain a strong customer service focus to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2-year Diploma in Business, Marketing, or Operations.
  • Previous experience leading a team and managing a large-scale operation within a Distribution setting.
  • Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset and ability to operate and lead independently in a decentralized setting.
  • Proven outside sales and business development experience would be an asset for mentoring and coaching.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capacity to lead by example and physically support different departments in both sales, administrative, and warehouse/logistics functions.
  • Exceptional relationship building and leadership skills – ability to develop people professionally and personally.
