Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing & Benefits Administrator to join our team at School District #37 (Delta). As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out transactions and maintaining all records to accurately reflect employee status as it pertains to payroll, compensation, benefits, and other employee information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and carry out transactions and maintain all records to accurately reflect employee status
  • Provide full cycle human resources services to employees, managers, principals, and vice principals
  • Perform a variety of complex, computerized data entry and administrative services in support of the human resources and payroll functions
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and laws
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees and management
Requirements
  • Secondary school graduation program or equivalent
  • Completion of post-secondary secretarial or office administration program equivalent to twelve months, including or supplemented by courses in Human Resources, payroll/accounting applications and/or benefits administration
  • Minimum of 4 years recent and relevant experience, including two years in a Human Resources environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills
  • Ability to use judgment, discretion, and tact when providing information
