Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at Knight Signs. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing support to our employees and management team in all aspects of human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and provide recommendations to management.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Prepare and post job notices and advertisements.
  • Collect and screen applicants and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Review candidate inventories and notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
