Jobber is on a mission to help small businesses succeed. We're looking for a Director, Product Partnerships to join our Partnerships department and help us achieve our goal.

As a Director, Product Partnerships, you will lead our growing Product Partnerships team. You will be responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with our largest partners, as well as managing smaller app partners. You will work closely with our product, engineering, sales & success, and marketing teams to understand our customer's needs and present win-win scenarios for Jobber's customer base and our partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in partnerships business development or account management, with a focus on product partnerships with technology companies. They will have a proven track record of developing, structuring, negotiating, and closing large-scale, complex business agreements and transactions with enterprise companies. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead presentations and large group meetings with external partners and Jobber internal teams.

The Director, Product Partnerships will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing the product partnerships strategic plan
  • Recruiting, managing, and coaching the Product Partnerships team
  • Identifying, evaluating, negotiating, closing, and launching new technology partnership opportunities that align with the overall product and business strategy
  • Maintaining a pipeline of partnership opportunities that drive reach, product value, and commercial opportunities for Jobber and our partners
  • Working collaboratively across product, marketing, engineering, and support to plan, build, and launch quality, on-time technology partnerships while maximizing the adoption of integrations through enablement materials, co-marketing, co-sell motions, etc
  • Developing compelling business value propositions that encourage partners to adopt and invest in advocating building and marketing integrations with Jobber
  • Structuring appropriate partner models/contracts to achieve mutually beneficial business results and drive execution of related partnership agreements
  • Demonstrating a clear understanding of a partner's value drivers, product capabilities, economics & business models, and how they align with Jobber's strategy, product, and goals
  • Ensuring partner compliance with their agreements and managing escalations
  • Leading complex contract negotiations for contracts that maximize the value for Jobber
  • Utilizing reporting and analytics, partner portfolio health, and data modeling to create business cases and action plans that identify and detail partner opportunities
  • Identifying potential product gaps that partners could help fill - conducting buy, build, or partner analysis
  • Quickly building expertise in the Jobber product offering, including our strengths and weaknesses and available APIs
  • Working alongside our Sr. Manager, Partner Success to strategically align on customer & product goals, and SP success measurements
