Executive Director Opportunity

The Citadel Theatre is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its next Executive Director. This key role will be responsible for managing the operational components of the theatre, working in partnership with the Artistic Director to drive strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational components of the theatre, ensuring seamless execution of programs and services.
  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop and implement strategic plans, driving growth and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, staff, and community partners.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in the arts or cultural sector.
  • Strong business acumen, with expertise in financial management and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Passion for the arts and commitment to the mission and values of the Citadel Theatre.

What We Offer:

  • An annual salary of $170,000 - $190,000 commensurate with experience.
  • Four weeks of paid vacation and extended Health, Dental, and RRSP plans.
