About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced research leader to join our team as the Executive Vice President, Research & Innovation and Chief Executive Officer & Scientific Director. This is a unique opportunity to drive our research enterprise forward and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy that aligns with the Institute's mission and goals
  • Lead a team of researchers and scientists to advance our understanding of various diseases and conditions
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding and resources for research projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and collaborators to advance our research agenda
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the research team to ensure the delivery of high-quality research outcomes

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field with a strong background in research and innovation
  • Proven track record of leading research teams and driving research outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
