Mechanic Service Advisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Technical Service Representative to join our team at Groupe JLD-Laguë - Sherbrooke. As a Technical Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries, requests for service, and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage customer service requests and ensure that all issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
- Generate work orders for repairs and maintenance, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Determine which repairs are covered under warranty.
- Keep customers informed of necessary repairs, including cost estimates.
- Recommend preventive maintenance to customers when repairs are made.
- Participate in the planning of the service department's schedule.
- Prepare and submit invoices for work completed.
- Sell and promote our mechanical services to customers.
- Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, and that all safety protocols are followed.
Requirements:
- Diploma in mechanics or related field (asset).
- Experience as a technical service representative in a retail environment (asset).
- Passion for the agricultural, commercial, or industrial sector.
- Functional English: an asset for serving our English-speaking clientele.
- Excellent communication skills, active listening, understanding of customer needs, organization, and a passion for customer service and sales.
