Compensation and Benefits Overview

$50.66 hourly


Successful candidates may qualify for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, along with a defined benefit pension plan.

About the Role


The Radiation Therapist is responsible for accurately preparing cancer patients and their documentation for the administration of radiation treatment courses.

The Radiation Therapist will play a crucial role as a member of the Cancer Treatment Team.
It is anticipated that the therapist will rotate through various functions including radiation treatment preparation, simulation, mould room, dosimetry, and treatment delivery.

Qualifications

  • Upcoming Graduate OR Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program in Canada or a non-Canadian program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Nova Scotia Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
Work Hours

  • Various permanent and temporary assignment opportunities available at Cape Breton Regional, Sydney, Nova Scotia.
  • Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
