Compensation and Benefits

$50.66 hourly

About the Role


The Radiation Therapist is responsible for accurately preparing cancer patients and their charts for the administration of radiation treatment courses.

The Radiation Therapist will play a crucial role as a member of the Cancer Treatment Team, rotating through various functions including radiation treatment preparation, simulation, mould room, dosimetry, and treatment delivery.


Qualifications
  • Upcoming Graduate OR Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program in Canada or a non-Canadian program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Nova Scotia Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.

Work Hours
  • Various permanent and temporary assignment opportunities available at Cape Breton Regional, Sydney, Nova Scotia.
  • Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
