Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site management for a ground-up new build project, either commercial/industrial or mid-rise residential. This includes managing subtrades and all aspects of health and safety, scheduling, and coordination for daily site activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day site management for a ground-up new build project, either commercial/industrial or mid-rise residential
  • Manage subtrades and all aspects of health and safety, scheduling, and coordination for daily site activities
  • Prepare and adhere to look-ahead schedules aligned with the master schedule for the project
  • Collaborate with the owner of the project, internal leadership, and all third-party stakeholders professionally and effectively
  • All other duties as required

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience working with GC/CM companies in the local Toronto construction market, with direct full-cycle project experience overseeing both commercial/light industrial and mid-rise residential condo new build projects
  • Strong track record of delivering projects between $20M and $40M in value on time and on budget
  • Relevant educational background (Civil Engineering degree, CET, Construction Management, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of construction software application tools (Procore, MS Project / Office, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills
  • Client service-focused attitude and delivery

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with experience ($130K-160K). This role is 100% site-based and projects will be in Toronto - Scarborough and Downtown Toronto.
