CFAA TECHNICIAN ROLE

As a CFAA Technician, you will engage in a variety of tasks that encompass the full spectrum of services we provide, including installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire alarm and security systems. We are committed to your professional growth and offer extensive training programs through FSP University to enhance your skills and knowledge in this vital field.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing, inspection, and servicing of fire alarm systems and associated devices.
  • Open to candidates with varying levels of experience in fire alarm and security system installation and maintenance.
  • Evaluate installation sites and analyze work orders, blueprints, and installation guidelines to ascertain material needs and installation methods.
  • Demonstrate system functionalities to clients and clarify aspects such as the implications of false alarms.
  • Test and repair circuits and sensors in accordance with wiring and system specifications.
  • Adhere to local and national security regulations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid CFAA License.
  • A strong willingness to learn all aspects of the CFAA Technician role in fire alarm and security.
  • Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting, and security systems is advantageous.
  • Experience with Siemens and/or Mircom ESD systems is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and a robust work ethic.
  • A customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
