POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Safety and Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of both guests and staff within the casino environment. This pivotal role involves fostering a secure atmosphere where individuals can enjoy their experience with peace of mind. You will also play a crucial part in safeguarding the organization against theft and fraudulent activities while upholding exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible presence on the gaming floor and promptly address guest inquiries.
- Regulate access to the premises, especially in restricted areas.
- Supervise alarm systems and manage key distribution.
- Document incidents, maintain daily logs, and conduct thorough investigations.
- Administer First Aid and provide medical assistance as necessary.
Qualifications
- Possession of a BST or Provincial Security certification is required.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Empathetic in interactions with individuals and proactive in problem-solving.
- Sound judgment and comprehension of casino operations.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- A background check is a mandatory requirement.
- Compensation starts at $19/hour with benefits available after 6 months of continuous employment.
