We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Inventory Specialist to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Datacenter Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory balances.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate daily safety topic huddles and ensure team compliance with safety standards.
- Prioritize and assign ticketed work to Data Center Inventory and Asset Technicians, leveraging process knowledge and technical skills to resolve escalations and clear blocking issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to a team of technicians responsible for preparing and executing incoming/outgoing deliveries and documenting inbound/outbound packages.
- Maintain focus on optimizing resources and improving quality, articulating the impact of work performed within the Data Center to technicians and stakeholders.
- Ensure teams maintain and perform steps required to keep the inventory balance accurate, prioritizing ticketing queues and resolving escalations to enable continued delivery of Inventory and Asset Management activities.
- High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, IT, and/or logistics, operating heavy-load movement equipment for a large corporation.
