Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Educator in Anatomical Pathology to join our esteemed institution, McMaster University. This role is pivotal in advancing the field of Anatomical Pathology, particularly in the subspecialties of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, breast, and skin pathology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in teaching and mentoring within the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs.
  • Participate in scholarly activities that enhance quality improvement and knowledge translation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster an innovative learning environment.
  • Involve in clinical and translational research initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent) in Anatomical or General Pathology.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Ontario.
  • Subspecialty expertise through recognized fellowship or extensive practice experience in relevant areas.
  • Strong skills in surgical pathology and frozen section analysis.
