Digital Marketing Strategist

West Coast Gifts Inc is a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of premium smoking accessories in Canada. With a strong presence in the market and plans for international expansion, we are seeking an experienced and creative Digital Marketing Strategist to drive the growth of our company and multiple in-house brands in the digital space.
Key Responsibilities:- Content Creation: Develop engaging product copy for all SKUs in our catalog, showcasing our products' unique features and benefits.
- Social Media Strategy: Research, develop, and execute social media strategies to maximize our presence across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Content Planning and Scheduling: Create and schedule engaging, relevant, and varied content (evergreen, contests, product launches) across social media channels, including blogs, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and SMS marketing.
- Customer Service: Manage LiveChat and social media channels to ensure timely responses to inquiries, providing superior customer service and handling a wide range of situations with transparency and authenticity.
- Email Marketing: Create and schedule email blasts for both B2B and B2C channels, promoting our products and services to our target audience.
- SEO Strategy: Plan and execute SEO strategies to improve our website's visibility and ranking on search engines.
- Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain performance reporting and metrics to demonstrate proof of performance, communicating results to key stakeholders and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Community Growth and Engagement: Develop and maintain a professional relationship with partners, resulting in potential collaborative efforts and campaigns, and create targeted content through various social media platforms.
- Event Promotion: Attend company events to promote our brands through social channels and create engaging content to share with our audience.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a Digital Marketing role, with 3+ years of Google Ads experience required.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and reporting, knowledge in Excel, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Shopify, and various social media platforms, strong knowledge of SEO, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to manage targets and report on KPIs, and enthusiasm for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest ad trends and media.
