About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Yellowknife Restaurant Limited Partnership. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Present menus and make recommendations to guests, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our offerings.
    • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Point of Sale and Cash Handling
    • Operate a point of sale system to process transactions and manage cash and credit card payments.
    • Count and balance cash and credit card receipts at the end of each shift.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and efficient communication.
    • Participate in pre-shift meetings to review menus, promotions, and other important information.
