Business School Director

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Business School Director to lead our academic programs at the University of British Columbia. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for developing and implementing academic policies, managing budgets, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality educational programs.
Key Responsibilities- Academic Leadership
- Develop and implement academic policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of education.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and deliver curriculum that meets the needs of our students.
- Evaluate and improve academic programs to ensure they are relevant and effective.
- Financial Management
- Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the efficient delivery of academic programs.
- Develop and implement financial plans to achieve strategic goals.
- Student Experience
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of our students.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and satisfaction.
- Community Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote mutual understanding and respect.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for indigenous workers.
- Education
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
- Experience
- Significant experience in academic leadership, preferably in a business school setting.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
