Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerk to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health team at PHSA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and book follow-up appointments, ensuring accurate dates, times, and locations.
  • Screen referrals and gather necessary information to ensure efficient processing.
  • Process patient registrations, documenting and collecting relevant information.
  • Retrieve and return charts to Health Records as required.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 and two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to keyboard at 45 wpm.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
