Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Community Home Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the program. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating programs, staff and client management, strategic plans, goals, objectives, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referral and vacancy management
  • Administrative tasks
  • Providing supervision to a staff group
  • Ensuring program maintenance and safety
  • Supporting the direct delivery of support services to clients

Requirements:

  • BA or Diploma in Mental Health or related field and two years of experience or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Three years in a mental health setting, including one year of supervisory experience and one year of program development and evaluation
  • Emergency First Aid Certificate
  • Current Ministry of Justice Criminal Records Clearance
  • Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • TB Clearance
  • Medical Certificate
  • FoodSafe Certificate
  • WHMIS Certificate
