Job Summary:

The Yard Attendant plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of Custom Truck One Source by assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment, maintaining the appearance of the branch, and completing various labor-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhere to safety protocols, and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Detail the interior and exterior of trucks to ensure they are in excellent condition.
  • Operate a variety of light and heavy-duty trucks on the premises, as needed.
  • Assist technicians with repair work, providing additional hands when required, and may involve occasional travel with field technicians to assist with on-site repairs.
  • Check in and check out rental, sale, and used equipment to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Perform various labor tasks related to the maintenance of the building, yard, shop, warehouses, or equipment, including sweeping, emptying trash, and other similar tasks.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the branch.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in parts and service or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in common computer software, such as the MS Office Suite, and inventory management systems.
