Job Summary
Brandt is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our Ayr Truck & Trailer location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the sales and delivery of after-market support services for our truck and trailer business.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Workflow Management: Develop and implement effective service workflow processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to customers.
- Standardization and Compliance: Enforce standards, policies, and reporting practices to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Service Department Budget Management: Develop and manage the Service Department budget to meet financial and operational goals.
- Customer Service and Support: Prepare quotes for customer work orders, open and close work orders, and inspect/operate customer equipment as part of resolving concerns/diagnostics.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor service revenue and expenses monthly and ensure work is performed according to established safety and industry standards.
- Employee Performance Management: Review employee performance against goals on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Effective Communication: Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, employees, and branch personnel at all levels.
- Self-Motivation and Continuous Learning: Must be self-motivated in learning and applying new knowledge and skills and is willing to share knowledge with others.
- Travel and Heavy Equipment Operation: Must be able to travel to customer worksites and operate and work on or around heavy equipment as required.
- Technical Skills: Must be proficient in using work-related desktop applications and web-based productivity applications.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Has the confidence, critical thinking, knowledge, and technical skills to assess and solve customer, business, and personnel problems effectively and efficiently.
- Driver's Abstract: A recent driver's abstract will be required.
