Compensation Range: $55,235 to $69,000

In this role, reporting directly to the National Director of Group Retirement, the Group Retirement Analyst will play a crucial part in preparing client evaluations, governance documentation, and investment analyses, while actively participating in the Group Retirement team's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Completing necessary documentation and monitoring the execution of plans in collaboration with service providers and plan sponsors;
  • Addressing inquiries and providing follow-up support to plan sponsors during the implementation phase;
  • Managing questions received through the retirement communication channel and ensuring appropriate follow-up;
  • Engaging with clients, external brokers, and insurers/service providers;
  • Delivering exceptional external customer service;
  • Preparing comprehensive plan evaluations, governance documents, and investment reports;
  • Conducting investment reviews utilizing MorningStar;
  • Assisting in the creation and continuous enhancement of templates and tools;
  • Updating contact records with insurers and other relevant parties;
  • Maintaining assigned Jira tickets by transferring documents, managing email communications, and updating timelines;
  • Executing additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:

  • Completion of a college diploma or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Possession of a Group Annuity Licence (Quebec) or Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP – outside Quebec) is advantageous;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word;
  • Strong command of both English and French, both written and spoken;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness;
  • Demonstrated judgment, integrity, and honesty;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, and the capacity to work independently with an analytical approach;
  • Capability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks.
