Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NPR certifications
  • Skilled in adult intubation and arterial line placement
  • Capable of conducting cardiac non-invasive assessments, critical care and routine therapy, pulmonary function evaluations, and arterial punctures
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues, nursing staff, physicians, and patients
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight
  • Professional discretion and judgment concerning patient care
  • Consistent attendance for internal candidates
  • Dedication to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
  • Successful vulnerable person's sector criminal background check
  • Must possess and provide proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination
