Key Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with patients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the specimen collection process.
- Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings with precision and accuracy.
- Collect and prepare specimens for transportation and testing, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, test results, and specimen collection data.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient specimen processing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy experience and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
