Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all ingredients are properly labeled and stored.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
- Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Equipment Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain all kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Reliability: Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and reliability in your work.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve common goals and maintain a positive team dynamic.
