Job Summary

Six Side Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Web Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our web-based systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Install Computer Hardware and Software

Assess and implement computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Provide Problem-Solving Services to Network Users

Offer technical support and troubleshooting services to network users, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and minimal downtime.

Maintain Network Infrastructure

Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, maintain control records, and ensure data backups and disaster recovery operations are conducted regularly.

Implement Network Security Measures

Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to prevent security breaches.

Web Development and Maintenance

Modify web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure seamless user experience and functionality.

Research and Optimization

Research and apply meta-data to websites and register websites with search engines to improve online visibility and search engine rankings.

Customer Support

Respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and designers, providing accurate and timely support.

Backup and Recovery Operations

Perform web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
