Job Summary

Flag Depot Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Web Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide expert problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network start-up and close-down, maintain control records, and execute data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Infrastructure Development: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and implement network traffic and security monitoring software to optimize server performance.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Technical Support: Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers, and perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff and ensure the smooth operation of our IT department.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
