Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Security Measures: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and systems from unauthorized access.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Setup: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Performance Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure efficient system operation.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Search Engine Optimization: Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines to improve online visibility.
  • Customer Support: Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers, providing prompt and effective support.
  • System Backup and Recovery: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 30 hours per week of work.
