We are actively seeking qualified individuals for part-time Custodian positions. These roles contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment across our diverse campus facilities.
Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness in public areas throughout the university, including classrooms, computer labs, lecture halls, and hallways.
- Sanitize restrooms and ensure their overall hygiene.
- Perform spot cleaning of walls and surfaces as needed.
- Remove garbage and recycling materials promptly.
- Reconfigure furniture in classrooms and lecture halls for various events and activities.
- Clean whiteboards and chalkboards to ensure a clear writing surface.
- Mop floors, including entrances, to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Wipe down glass partitions, entrance windows, and elevator walls.
- Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies as required.
- Remove posters and advertisements from designated areas.
- Utilize auto scrubbers for efficient corridor cleaning.
- Maintain the cleanliness of main stairwells.
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors.
- Proficiency in operating custodial equipment, including polishers, shampoo machines, ladders, carts, hand trucks, wet and dry vacuums, etc.
- Excellent communication skills in English, enabling clear understanding and interaction with colleagues and supervisors.
