A full-time opportunity is available for a Staff Neonatologist within the Department of Paediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Mount Sinai Hospital serves as an academic health science center associated with the University of Toronto.

The Department of Paediatrics at Sinai Health is renowned for its excellence in Neonatal clinical care, education, and research, and works closely with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

This department provides both primary and tertiary care for newborns at regional and provincial levels, respectively, and offers specialized services for the resuscitation of infants with known cardiac conditions and other congenital disorders.

In collaboration with the division of Neonatology at the Hospital for Sick Children and Sunnybrook Hospital, this department is part of a fully accredited Fellowship Training Program in Neonatology recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine during fellowship, along with 5-7 years of experience at the Assistant Professor level or hold an Associate Professor/Professor rank, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence and clinical care.

The role will encompass responsibilities in Level 3 NICU, Mother and Baby Unit, antenatal clinic, and Neonatal Follow-up clinic.

Candidates must be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto.

We seek individuals with a special interest or training in subspecialties such as respirology, neurology, nutritional sciences, or related fields.

All applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English, possess an MD, MBBS, or equivalent, and have completed specialty training in Pediatric Medicine, qualifying for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or hold comparable qualifications.

Candidates must also hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
