Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Staff Neonatologist to join our esteemed Department of Paediatrics. This role is integral to our commitment to providing exceptional neonatal care, education, and research.

About the Department:

The Department of Paediatrics is recognized for its excellence in neonatal clinical services and is closely associated with Obstetrics and Gynecology. We offer comprehensive primary and tertiary care for newborns, including specialized services for infants with cardiac conditions and congenital anomalies.

Training and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine.
  • 5-7 years of experience at the Assistant Professor level or higher.
  • A strong academic commitment and a proven track record in clinical excellence.
Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will engage in:

  • Providing care in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
  • Working in the Mother and Baby Unit.
  • Participating in antenatal clinics and Neonatal Follow-up clinics.
Qualifications:

Candidates must:

  • Be eligible for an academic appointment.
  • Hold an MD, MBBS, or equivalent degree.
  • Have completed specialty training in Pediatric Medicine.
  • Be eligible for certification by the relevant medical board.
  • Possess or be eligible for licensure.
